Hsv2 symptoms

Would headache and constant vomiting lastnight be a sign of contracting hsv2 from my partner although we've been sexually active w/out protection for 7 weeks?? Would symptoms have come about before 7 wks??

7 weeks of unprotected sex and no symptoms does not mean you can't get something down the road. It's strongly encouraged that you both get blood tests to know your HSV status and to practice safer sex.

thx so much! So with 3 wks being the max time it's likely something else? I saw some of the symptoms being flu-like and got nervous cause got sick almost immediately after we had sex, was odd.

More likely a stomach flu or food poisoning.

Do you know if your partner has HSV2?  IF not, you should discuss it with the person and you both should get tested to know your status.

As far as symptom onset, they average 2-10 days from time of infection with 3 weeks being the max amount of time to pass.
