Huge anxiety over herpes
I am going to give some detail for context.

On July 28 2011 I visited an Asian massage parlor. It's really a bodyrub on floor.
Masseuse sits on top of you part if the time between your legs.
I touched get private while her underwear was on.
She started a handjob on me. Then i took her pants sbd underwear off. I didn't touch her unclothed.
I then took over and masturbated, finished and went in bath washed hands and penis. ( I hope this isn't too vulgar, nit my intent just want you to have story).
I developed two red pimples on buttocks and called Gp
Saw my GP week later and he saw no signs and said low risk of catching herpes.
Had annual physical on august 19th. He said mild foliculitis that's it.
Just about that date I was having some itching back there and have had a tenderness
Feeling in lower buttocks for 2 weeks since that will not go away. Feels a little tingly and tender.
Saw my dermatologist this past week. She had seen me a week earlier and gave me some cream to treat some
Irritation around anus, no bumps. She said clearing up nicely That piece doesnt overly worry me She said could be yeast infection.
I did not discuss STD scare with her but she did look briefly at buttocks and had no concern.
She had no comment on tingling/tenderness.
I'm scared that this tenderness is a sign ohms herpes.
Have been in one monogomous relationship for 15 years. No concerns whatsoever there as far as being monogamous on both sides. Scared.

Cream and ointment noted above ? Tender down there as well

A fungal infection around the anus is extremely common for males, yes. Are you using daily antifungal treatment? Is it oral or topical?

I think your experience at the massage parlor presents no risk to you for genital herpes. The sexual contact that you had was safe and not risky. I'm glad that your symptoms cleared up with the antifungal medicine, that's a very sign. We see lots of fungal infections at this time of the year, so not a big surprise.
There is really nothing else to say about this except that I have zero worries that you might have contracted herpes in this way.
