I HAD UNPROTECTED SEX ALMOST 12 HOURS AGO, PLEASE HELP!

I met this girl at a bar, went back to her place, obviously we had sex without protection. I gave her oral sex to her, but she did not give oral sex to me. I did ejaculate, but pulled out. Never inside of her, it was all on her bed. Then she tells me she has herpes...( she contacted it 4 yrs ago) Yes, shock and discourage, not angry, i was very depress leading to now, still am. I asked about her history and she told me with she had only been with 1 guy within the past 2 yrs. Same situation like i am having, unprotected sex with her. That guy tested negative and never wanted to see her again.

I want to be angry, but i cant. Im just depressed b/c she did not tell me before hand that she has herpes. She is on maintanence with medication and has not have any "outbreaks" within the past 2 yrs.

Now do i have it? Do i have STD's are even worst? I've never been in this situation, and been shaking neverously. When should i go the doctor, and what test(s) should i ask for?? What are the symptoms as well. Im very scared, i really am and do not want to ever ever do this again. Please help...

The risk from a one time encounter without her having any symptoms is very low in general.  

So what do you do now?  Well at this point I recommend waiting until next week and going for a full std screening. Get a baseline herpes igg blood test too just so you know what your status is.  Since it was unprotected sex you need to cover the other std's too.  

If you know unprotected sex is going to scare you, don't have it.  Most folks who have std's have no idea they have them.

More of the same, it is all over this board. Same thing happened to me. What are these people thinking. I guess they think being a liar is better than having herpes...Risking someones health forever is in comprehensable. If it is any consolation, I have tested negative at 14 weeks after the same scenario but had symtoms and am finding it hard to believe the results. Just hang in there I guess, I know what you are going through.

Treesnake, what did you test exactly? And what symptoms do you have?? 14 weeks, have you test weekly???

Is it possible even the risk is low, she had no outbreaks, i may develop symptoms later??? I just have many questions to ask you all. thank you all for replying

Testing each week is gonna get expensive. The deed is done, you either have it or you don't. If you get symptoms, go see a doctor. If not, you have to wait it out and get tested. I tested neg. at 14 weeks and I am still struggling with the mental side of all of this. It is a shame that someone can put someone else in this position. Hang in there.

The more you test, the more you risk a false positive which will just do a mental number on you. Do the testing I've recommended and try not to obsess too much over it.
