encounter. She recently went to a gyn exam where she was advised that she has HSV2 Positive at 3.5. Knowing that I have never had any symptoms, I went to the doctor to get a test done. My results are as follows:
HSV1 IGG Herpeselect AB = .27
HSV2 IGG Herpeselect AB = .17
I have seen her results as positive, and I have had unprotected sex
with her. (Last time on Feb. 14)
This blood was collected on 5/1/09.
1) Do I have exposure to Herpes?
2) Is it possible this test is wrong and I have it?
3) Is it possible to have a result with numbers this low?
4) Why is my doctor saying I have to test again as if this was an error?
