I am SERIOUSLY freaking out right now!

About a week ago I noticed that there was a small lump on labia minora, sort of decided to keep an eye on it and see if it would go away, and it did but a couple of days later I started having intense genital itching. I thought it may be due to hair growing back after shaving for the first time in a month a few days prior, so I shaved again and I noticed a patch of lumps on my upper thigh. I examined closer and found several patches of sores and bumps of different kinds -- some white, some flesh-colored, some dark and dry, et cetera. I started freaking out a lot and didn't do much to treat it aside from wearing loose clothes and sleeping with no underwear -- but it got super excruciating and VERY itchy, and the next day my lower labia majora were all swelled up and red.
Some people on another forum suggested I try treating it as thrush, so yesterday I picked up some Canesten and have been applying it 3 times a day. Today I checked to see how it looked and the left side looks a bit better, but the right side has started looking pus-y, and I'm not sure if that's a good or bad sign. I also found a new patch of bumps inside my right labia minora and when I applied the Canesten, it started to burn.
Those are the symptoms, so here are some other facts to give more information:
- I have only been sexually active with two women in the past, neither of whom notified me of having an STD.
- I can't make a doctor's appointment as I'm abroad for the next month and my insurance only covers immediate issues that cannot wait.
- I've made an appointment at a free clinic, but they can't take me for another two weeks and walk ins are not allowed. (I tried other clinics in the area and they were even busier.)
- I don't have any strange discharge.
- The bumps and sores do tingle, which I know is a sign of herpes.
- In my mind, there are four major possibilities: 1. Herpes, as the symptoms seem to fit it quite well, but I'm really hoping this isn't it. 2. A fungal infection, likely yeast, which could have been caused by anything, but also potentially could be folliculitis caused by shaving with a dull razor (though this seems less likely

I guess I didn't notice any sores (or else I wouldn't have had sexual contact with them) but it's possible I missed something?
I haven't noticed any liquid coming from the bumps, which I guess is a good sign, but I do unfortunately think that they're starting to spread further down my thigh on one side :( I do have pain, but mostly only when I touch the sores (when washing or putting on ointment).

Noted about the genital to genital contact but again, if no sores at the time the risk is also close to zero. Herpes are not simple bumps but starts off as a blister type sore that opens and spreads clear liquid containing the virus to the immediate surrounding area in a cluster type grouping. Also genital herpes sores are all most always quite painful, esp a new infection.
Most that contract herpes are in long term mongomous relationships where one partner is infected.
Also first time outbreaks could appear all around the genital area but for only term herpes, its would only appear on one side. Long term meaning around 6 months infected or so.
Just see a doc and have them swabbed or a blood test at the 8 week mark for a good indicator.

Okay, so it cut off the end of my message and moved this to the Herpes forum...thanks for the confidence about me having herpes, MedHelp, lol.

A fungal infection, likely yeast, which could have been caused by anything, but also potentially could be folliculitis caused by shaving with a dull razor (though this seems less likely because I found bumps on my labia minora too). 3. A combination of the above symptoms. 4. Something else -- what, I don't know. HPV? That's possible, but unlikely. Not sure what else it could potentially be.

So I guess I've got to ask...what does it sound like? What should I do in the meantime as I wait for my appointment? How should I be trying to deal with it, or at least the symptoms of it, in the meantime? And can anyone provide words of comfort? Because I've kind of been crying about it a lot over the past several days and, as I'm still in my teens, I'm not ready for my experiences in sex and love to be limited before I even really foray into that world.

Life360, there was genital to genital contact, so HSV2 cannot be ruled out. I also thought it might be connected to shaving, but if it is, then how does that explain the bumps on my labia minora since I don't have any hair there...?

Hi, if none of your partners had any lip sores at the time of oral sex, then the odds that these are hsv1 is close to zero. I wont mention hsv2 as its not common in the oral area. If your female and your partners are female contracting things like Gono is next to impossible in the vaginal area as this is past mostly to men receiving oral sex in a deep throat style as the germs are int he back of the throat. I mention this because you mention STD,s.
I feel its all connected to the shaving.
