I am afraid I have hsv-2

Ok... so this past month has been horrible!

I recently had plastic surgery in October. My boyfriend and I broke up in December...
well with the new plastic surgery I have had more men show interest in the past 5 months than probably EVER before!
With those men are every single ex boyfriend I have ever had.

My boyfriend and I always used condoms besides a few times, never had any flu like symptoms, he never ejaculated inside of me and never gave me oral sex.

I was tested for HIV in October (me and him have been sexually active since June) and that was negative.

SO on January 13 I had unprotected sex with an ex boyfriend.... he ejaculated inside of me.............. he said he thought I was still on the Nuva Ring.... we were together a year prior! so jeez can you at least ask before you do that!
January 24... had sex with my other ex boyfriend ......... he gave me oral sex, we kissed & he started off with a condom and then took it off and then DID NOT ejaculate inside of me.

I probably wouldn't have even been worried about STDs... BUT January 27 a mutual friend of me & exboyfriend #2 said... "***** told me you guys had sex, he was just messing around with ***** and I heard she had an abortion by ****** who everyone says has herpes"
MY HEART SANK!!!!

I have never had an STD, always get checked, don't normally have sex.. like I said the new attention has been overwhelming and I deff made 2 BAD mistakes.

Both sexual encounters were around 1 minute.
I contacted ex boyfriend #2, he said he had a HIV & herpes blood test a free std clinic he went to with ***** (the girl who supposedly had an abortion by someone with herpes). & that both were negative

He got defense & said he wasn't going to get checked again. The girl... saw our texts, contacted me on facebook wondering what was going on. I told her & she went & got checked for HSV 1 & 2 both came back negative. She said they have been having unprotected sex since 2011 and he has never gave her anything & that she never had sex with that person or had an abortion by him. She sent me pictures of her test results, she did not get tested for HIV but said she did get tested when they went a few weeks prior and it was negative & so was his.

I FINALLY FELT A FEELING OF RELEIF THEN I REALIZED !! oh my gosh! I was so worried about ex boyfriend #2 ( has a history of being a ladies man) that I didn't even give much thought to ex boyfriend #1.

so I contacted him, he went & got tested for HIV & it came back negative

SO HERE ARE MY SYMPTOMS...

October - tested negative for HIV before plastic surgery

December I stopped having sex with my boyfriend, we mostly used condoms --- all times for 7 months besides maybe twice.

January 13 - 1-3 minutes unprotected vaginal sex with ex boyfriend #1, ejaculated inside of me, no oral sex, he had a oral HIV test on February 26 which came back negative

January 24 - 1-2 minutes unprotected vaginal sex with ex boyfriend #2, oral sex, ejaculated on the bed

January 28  - noticed a razor bump that popped (white fluid came out like a pimple) it was on the area between labia & where the thigh/butt meet.

January 28 - noticed I had what felt like a sinus infection, sore throat, no fever

January 30 - had the bump swabbed, HIV test, all stds checked. the bump swab came back negative, all stds & HIV came back negative. The doctor acted like I was crazy and said he doesn't do herpes blood tests because anyone who has ever had a cold sore would come back positive, that the bump didn't look like herpes, he didn't want to swab it but he did

I noticed I have FORDYCE SPOTS on my top lip.......... NEVER noticed these before, had a mucocele in my inner lip, noticed my tongue was almost raw. for a long time.

I went to my OBGYN, she did another examination, said she would order an HSV 1 & 2  test because sometimes they can be cross reactive, doesn't likey e to do them, that if I had herpes I would know because they are painful, that even if they had herpes the chances of me getting herpes while they had no sore is very unlikely & that I need to calm down

I also went to planned parenthood ( didn't get an HSV test because I wasn't worried about it at the time)
The planned parenthood doctor acted like I was crazy too! said nothing on my lip or inside my mouth looks like herpes...

finally went after 6 weeks after exposure to exboyfriend #1 (where bodily fluids were exchanged, who has not shown me a HSV test only HIV) to get a HIV/HSV blood test.
This was 4 weeks after I had sex with exboyfriend #2, his "girlfriend" who hes been having unprotected sex with since 2011 sent me a picture of her HSV 1 & 2 results, both were negative, he claims he had a HIV blood & HSV test & both were negative I haven't seen them

WELLL

HIV NEGATIVE & HSV 1 POSTIVE, HSV 2 NEGATIVE

I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE HAD A COLD SORE OR FEVER BLISTER!!! & ive never had a blood test for it,.... kind of blown away that it was positive. My OBGYN brushed it off, told me I don't need to be on meds because Ive never had a sore, that I don't need to be worried about giving my boyfriend (yes we got back together but haven't even kissed because I've been so bent outta shape about all this mess), also told me I don't need to tell my boyfriend and that 80-90 percent of americans have it......
I think I am just not going to give him oral sex or kiss him for a LONG time, if we stay together then we can go to my doctor together & I am going to have my doctor tell him so he can hear his risks from a doctor, thinking maybe I could get on an antiviral to reduce the risk of the virus shedding to his genitals during oral sex (hes soooooo paranoid about STDs that I doubt he will ever even want me to give him oral sex again)

SO NOW MY MAIN CONCERN IS....

so my blood test was at 6 weeks post exposure to the bodily fluids.... he has sent me pic of negative HIV results..... not HSV though........... should I go get another HSV2 test???? I have been seen by  3 doctors all of which think I am crazy and have examined me & said they don't see anything like herpes, that I would have had a fever, tingling down there something.

my blood test was 4 weeks after post exposure... with no bodily fluids. his girlfriend did send me a negative hsv 1 & 2 test ..... they both said their HIV tests were negative but I haven't seen proof.

I feel like I am losing my mind. Wasn't eating, all I wanted to do was sleep, these freaking Fordyce spots on my top lip has me feeling sad, ALL TOGETHER JUST A BAD SITUATION!!!

I seriously had 3 partners in 5 years.... then now with this new body & confidence have 3 partners in 2 months..... This was DEFF the scare I needed! The fact that I tested positive for HSV1 alone.. I highly doubt I will give anyone oral sex again.

My boyfriend who I was with from June-December has been acting PERFECT and here I am haven't even kissed him since December & its January 29. I did tell him I gave up sex for lent ( which I did) so its buying me time.

I am DEFF going to get another HIV test 8 & 10 weeks post exposures. Kind of don't know should I get another herpes test..... kind of scared to death it will come back positive.

I swear I have never had any sore down there besides typical razor bumps, I haven't had any tingling down there, no itching, no burning, no nothing. Just that 1 razor bump that swab came back negative.

Okay, dear - take a deep breath. Your post is very hard to follow, but I'll try to give you some basic information. First, according to one of our top researchers, 75% of Americans have HSV (1 or 2), but 80-90% of them don't know it, due to a lack of recognizable symptoms. It's common to have the virus but be asymptomatic. However, we can be contagious at any time, even without symptoms - a phenomenon called "asymptomatic shedding." In fact, this is how HSV is mostly spread. Your doctors are wrong - there are studies that prove this to be true.

Ask for a hard copy of your blood test results. It's important that the tests were IgG type-specific tests for HSV. If the index number for your HSV-1 test is over 3.5, you definitely have HSV-1. However, a blood test can't tell you whether it's oral or genital. It's possible to have HSV-1 either orally or genitally. Also, it can take up to 4 months past exposure for antibodies to generate enough to trigger a positive result on a blood test, so you should get another IgG test at the 4-month mark to compare with your earlier tests.

Finally, I urge you to disclose to your sexual partner, and ask him to get tested, together with you, for everything, so you both know what each of you brings to the relationship - there are lots of bugs out there to catch besides HSV! About 65% of Americans have HSV-1, by the way, so it's certainly possible he already has it. If you've both had the same HSV type for over 4 months, you don't have to worry about passing it to each other. Your antibodies protect you against re-infection with the same HSV type. I hope some of this helps.

Since youve never had any genital issues then you hsv1 is mostly likely from childhood and its oral.

Hi you said you tested positive for hsv1. Please tell us the numbers that came up to exlude a false positive.

They did not tell me the numbers, the doctor just called me & said HSV1 positive, HSV2 negative. I have sense told my boyfriend that I took the tests & HSV1 was positive. He told me that he had a fever blister/cold sore when he was in college.... so that makes sense why mine was positive.... he said he hasn't had a fever blister for 5+ years so I guess he could have gave it to me?? I am still scared about the HSV2 and HIV negative results being negative because not enough time between the encounters & the tests.

but at the same tijme I swear I have never had a cold sore or fever blister ( I have had a few canker sores in my 27 years of life though) & here I am testing positive for HSV 1.
another question.. If I have NEVER had a cold sore (I confirmed this with my parents), take a daily antiviral... just to protect my boyfriend..... deff wouldn't give oral sex with any type of sore on or around my mouth..... would it be safe for me to give my boyfriend oral sex????

Should I be worried about HSV 2 OR HIV? or am I over reacting??? my OBGYN said she wouldn't order me another HSV 2 blood test because she doesn't think I need it. BUT I know there is a std clinic 30 mins away from me that will do just the HSV2 test (they don't do HSV1) & I am going to get another HIV test for sure before lent is over....

I think the HSV 2 is more likely from the partner on January 13... goes tested 41 days after him which was negative.
HIV would be from the January 24 exposure, was tested 30 days after  & 7 days after & both were negative. & he did not ejaculate in me.

I kind of want to take my negative HSV2 test & run away & never look back.

I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I gave my boyfriend HSV 1 OR 2.

SO STRESSFUL I DEFF LEARNED MY LESSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so please no lectures!
