I am confused.

I had a partner tell me she has Genital Herpes and then performed oral sex on me three times without a condom. She swallowed all three times. She has done with other guys and none of them have Herpes. But I am a nervous wreck because I have no felt any symptoms....So I wanted to ask you Doctor what are the chances of getting Genital Herpes through oral sex and having her swallow it?

we recommend protected sexual contact because it works. In the future, if it's not a regular partner who's std status you are sure of, you should only be giving and receiving protected oral sex to protect yourself.  It also saves you worry and frequent testing for std's too.  also whether or not she swallows isn't an issue - it's the sex act itself that transmit std's, not if semen is released or not.

will you contract her genital herpes from this ? No you will not. You can however contract hsv1 genitally from unprotected oral. have you ever been tested to know your own herpes status?

if she has genital herpes, then she cannot transmit this to you through her mouth. she only has the herpes in her genitals.
