I am not sure if it is herpes or not.

Hello I am a male. Who had unprotected sex with a female 3 months ago.  I never had an itch or anything that I am aware of untill about 3 days ago.  (unless it was jock itch).  The itch is on the shaft on the side on the loose skin .  I have looked to see if i can find any bumps but i don't think so. (unless they are not noticeable. and very VERY SMALL.)  The itch seem to go and come when i touch it.

I been using tough acting tactician on the area which seem to make it stop itching for awhile about 6-8 hours.   It itch is VERY MILD. and only if i rub or touch it.  I am not sure if the area is red or swollen (I don't think so but I am a black male so I am not sure about it)...

Herpes symptoms are vary from person to person. The itching may be by some others infection or herpes viral shedding. Only lab test can prove. I think you can take IGG Blood test for Herpes 1 and 2.
