I am scared , and confused

I was on the pill for about a month then a week before my period I started feeling itch , and burning around my vagina. I stopped taking the pill and got over the counter ointment because I suspected a yeast infection. It went away in a few days then I had sex with my boyfriend he went down on me also. After that we broke up, around 1 month and 2 weeks later he gets cold sores around his mouth, and he is blaming me for it. I don't have the symptoms anymore but now am scared I have herpes and gave them to him. Is he right? or can he get herpes from a yeast infection? I am confused please help me

Cold sore is basically oral herpes so the chances are that you had/have herpes and passed on the virus to your ex. You should check with a doc and bear in mind that the herpes stays in your body indefinitely and might reappear when you feel run down, pregnant etc. Saying that, it's odd that you didn't get any white lesions, did they later appear?

You can not get herpes from a yeast infection. Herpes is a virus and yeast infections are fungal infections. You could get a yeast infection of the mouth though. Have you seen a doctor? Has he seen a doc regarding his symptoms?
