I have OCD and really need your help :(

I touched a guy down there and then touched my dress which was later in the laundry basket and other clothes from the same laundry basket then touched my mum’s jumper which touched other things. The guy has slept with a prostitute. I really need help, are the other things still clean or do I need to wash everything???

You can rest assured that this is zero (and zero means zero) chance of any transmission of anything let alone herpes. You can safely put that thought way, way out of your head.

The virus does not spread that way, live on surfaces or casually jump to skin to infect. An significant amount of the virus needs to be rubbed skin to skin into toward a nerve ending for any chance of infection.

As Fleetwood confirms this is no risk for acquiring hsv including the jumper.

Just another question... is my mum's jumper also safe? And just to make it clearer, this was during sex...
