I have a few questions please.

A few days ago, 14th of March to be exact. I felt this discomfort under my tongue. It's not painful at all. It has a sort of tight feeling to it. I resorted to gargling bactidol to get rid of it. By sunday, 4th day, it was a little puffy in the morning and the puffiness under my tongue would gradually subside. I took a loot at it and it was a little puffy and red. I also checked in the inside of my lower lip and found a red lesion. It was flat but it's not painful at all. I found the red lesion by accident and i don't know how long I had it. Before I wasn't feeling anything but now since I am aware of it I feel like that area is a little sensitive. I went to my dentist last monday and showed her the lesion and the redness under my tongue. She said that was normal and nothing to worry about. But I am still worried that it might be herpes. I had unprotected oral sex(gay) last august. I got tested for HIV 3 months after my exposure and it turned out non-reactive. Right now, I am depress because of this. I don't know what to do. T.T

Right now the redness under my tongue is still there and the red lesion on my inner lower lip is still present too. :(

Thanks, Grace. That is absolutely what I have in mind. If ever the right person comes, we will both have a thorough test to enjoy a great life without fear.

Thanks again and God bless.

Lee.

it's so not worth staying alone and avoiding sex for paranoia!!!

why not have partners tested for std's before starting to be intimate?

Thanks for the response Grace. I just have this fear of getting it or any other STDs or HIV. I am not sexually active and I have since distanced myself to sex because of paranoia. Thank you again.
