I have herpes. If I have an ingrown hair present...will that be open sore contagious?

I have herpes. Got it from oral sex.
My girlfriend knows.  I have a ingrown hair (pretty positive) I only had one outbreak when I first had it 2 years ago. And I shaved and I think I have ingrown hairs.

My question is where an ingrown hair (the bump) when I squeezed it a tiny drop of blood came out.

Is my blood contagious for herpes? I know you can pass on herpes just by shedding etc. But would this ingrown hair make it easier since when I squeezed blood came out which means its an 'open sore'?

Or does an open sore only consist of a HERPE open sore...

Herpes is not a blood borne virus.  It can not be transmitted thru blood.

That said - if you have squeezed something in the genital area, you shouldn't be having sex with your gf until it's healed.

Also has your gf been tested for herpes to know her own status?
