I need help trying to figure out what i got

Ok well its been at least a week since the last time I was sexually active. My girlfriend just got over a yeast infection.  The last couple days I noticed i started to get some dry skin around the top of my penis. Also i notice some redish/pinkish dots as well. I play hockey and have a bad habit of not airing out my stuff, so because of that my stuff builds sweat. I have done some research came to the conclusion I have jock itch. But I dont really know what I have! Do i have jock itch, yeast irritation from my gf, is it just irritation? im only seventeen too so this is kind of freaking me out

sounds like a fungal infection ( aka jock itch ) more than it does herpes. follow up on it with your provider if you are concerned.
