with a nymphomaniac, I know it was stupid but what is done is done. After that I had a ONS that was protected before returning home for the summer (I'm a foreign student). When I reached home I had unprotected sex
again with an ex-gf (a girl that I trust and right now is my current best friend), after which she complained that she got a yeast infection by this time I had already left to return to my studies.
After I returned to this foreign country I got into a relationship that lasted a year (I am a faithful lover), with CR - used as an alias; to get rid of any confusions
that might follow. During that time like 1-2 mths after CR and I started to get sexually active, she too complained to me about picking up an infection and experiencing funny smelling, deep yellow
-colored urination. She went to the doctor but I guess the diagnosis wasn't so great because of the language barrier (in a country which doesn't speak English). They just said inside her vagina was dirty. After all, we never went to the doctor and just let it slip by. Jan of 2010 she got a cold sore on the side of her mouth that stayed for about 2 wks. My mom told me it could be herpes and i conveyed the message to CR. We continued to have unprotected sex
coloration in my urine, which I never paid too much attention to. in about Apr. 2010 she seemed to have another sore forming on her chin but didn't seem as severe. I guess we didn't want to get tested because of the country's laws where we were studying, one in which STDs play a role in visa reception. So the summer of 2011 CR returned home, where she decided would've been the better place to receive the test. I never asked her what the results were, nor has she gotten back to me on the subject.
In Sep. 2010 a new chapter turned in my life and I found a girl that I really think we have a future. Two weeks after we had sex, she came with the same complaint that she too got a yeast infection. Lets call her JF. We met at something like an international event, so as the time passed she had to leave as well, but she was going to come back to live with me. During my wait, we had several problems such as the fact that she had to have inguinal hernia surgery (which I was wondering if they would have tested her then for STDs). After over a month of waiting JF got a job which was one that was hard to turn down over coming and live with me. As a result she chose the mature decision of taking the job. Jan 2011 I returned home so I visited her going and coming back during my winter vacation. After I came back JF told me she wanted me to use condoms because every time we have sex she contracted a yeast infection, which I complied to of course.
Recently I've been looking at photos from Dec. 2010 and I remember that I did have what seemed to be a cold sore one time which wasn't as serious as CR's. It just appeared like a cut, but looking at it now it could've been a cold sore. Some symptoms that I have been encountering are itchy sweat - especially after physical activity (notwithstanding that I have very dry skin and live in a cold country); very itchy scrotum - day by day this seems to be more evident; in addition, at this moment i seldom have a deep yellow discharge/urine. I have also been examining my eyes and it seems slightly inflamed, which I hope is not a sign of keratitis; however, my sleeping pattern isn't the best. Otherwise than these few symptoms everything else just seems asymptomatic.
I would really like some advice or a possible diagnosis, because I'm kind of afraid to go to the doctor here. I didn't have the time when I returned this winter. Sorry for such a detail explanation but I'm doing a health related degree so I know how important it is for details.
Thanking you for any help, advice or simple diagnosis in advance
it's unfortunate that throughout all of this you never went for a full std screening from what I gather? at this point you need to go and be seen and get full testing done. depending on where you are at depends on if you'll be able to get type specific herpes igg blood testing done or not. really not too much anyone can help you with until you and your current partner have both had a full std work up done to find out if this is just a yeast issue or something else going on.
