Hi.
I resently had a blood test wich came back with the following results.
Herpes 1 IgG = 1/2000 (out of range) positive > or = 1/5000
Herpes 1 IgM = Negative
Herpes 2 IgG =1/1000 (out of range) positive> or = 1/5000
Herpes 2 IgM = Negative
What does this means?..Do I have Herpes 2?
I never had any cold sores or genital herpes sympthoms
Hi Grace, me again.
From what I see on my test, In order for me to be positive on herpes1 and 2, My igg numbers need to be higher or equal to 1/5000 , Am I right?
Can a person get a true zero on this tests (igg) or will there always be a numeric value on them just because of the mechanism of the test ?
Dont even know if am answering my own questions but the answer I am looking forward is yours.
Thanks.
I'm sorry but your testing isn't one of which I'm familiar with since you are outside of the US. I really can't comment on your results. I recommend you find a support group near you with someone who is educated on the tests offered in your local area.
