So I thought one of these 2 issues may be a cause, b/c I've never had any sores in the vagina ever before.

IGM = negative
IGG = 1/2 antibodies, 3.67. No type specific results were given...
Doctor said to assume - yes, I've been exposed, but no antibodies so I'm still suseptible to getting (unexposed).
This is contradictory and I am not sure what to think.
I just found out after 9 years of marriage that my husband has it...genital...I have never seen him have cold sores on mouth...We are divorcing (not for this reason) and I need to know if I have this and could pass it on?
You didn't have a type specific herpes igg blood test done so it's of little use unfortunately. Call your provider and ask them to order a type specific herpes igg blood test for you for follow up.
