IGM Clarification

I got the IGM test done one month after a possible exposure. igm (1.29) which is high meaning +.
I keep seeing everyone saying don't worrie about the igm test? It is likely to be a false positive, but false positive for what just Herpes type two?

I guess my question is...Since I tested positive on igm does that mean I do indeed have herpes, but its probably just herpes type one?  Or If it is a false positive does that mean im clean and that I do not have the Herpes virus?
I just need some clarification. I'm getting confused. I just need someone to lay it out there for me.
