IS THIS HERPES

1st of march 2010 had affair. 3 times
late march got burning feeling on penis. skin turned very dry and began to peel like sunburn.
hurt epecially when erect. noticed a couple splits in the skin. a couple days later noticed bump right along rim of head of penis. looked like pearly penile papules. dry peeling skin lasted around a week. not sure of timing on all this.
4-6-10 went to doctor. all std test ran. all negative.
4-9-10 had sex with wife. 4-11-10 wife had burning and itching. went to doctor and told looks 99% like herpes.
did swab and blood test. all negative. said culture showed yeast. gave yeast meds. got better in week. i did see the ulcers. about the size of a pencil eraser. 3-4 of them.
6-2010 wife had itching and burning again. took oral yeast meds better in 5-6 days.
wife and i have been very tired & sleepy ever since. headaches perodically, wife has had heartburn frequently since this episode.
wife and i around the 1st of may 2010 have had a small pimple like rash on chest, shoulders, and upper back. she has never had much acne. we both still have this pimple like rash.
i have been tested every month since for all stds including herpes 1 and 2 using either the herpes select or the captiva igg. all negative.
12-11-10 wife had itching and burning. went to same obgyn office, different doctor, said 99% herpes. same type ulcers. blood test and swab. all negative. oral yest meds. seemed to get better for a couple days then right back.
early january different obgyn. he said bad yeast infection. the ulcers were gone now. he said the vagina was irritated. gave 10 day coarse of oral yeast meds. all sxs better in 2-3 days. wife has had no other sxs.
herpes? if so we are not producing antibodies.
would not producing antibodies make it more likely to transmit to a baby? would we have more sickness? i know you have seen positive people who did not produce antibodies.

Hmmmm.  Well, it seems we have several problems here.  One is the symptoms.  Let's deal with that first. Your symptoms sound very typically fungal (yeast) - the peeling skin, red skin.  And her symptoms do too, except she had ulcers the size of pencil erasers, which doesn't typically fit with yeast but could be yeast?  I don't think the pimples have anything to do with this, however, The other problem is that you have a doctor who keeps saying that she has herpes.

Where are you located?  If you are able to get a western blot test to UW, I think you should do that.  

Are you able to get the other woman tested for herpes?  Was a condom used?
