If I got herpes bumps before my boyfriend does that mean I gave it to him?

Im 19 and my boyfriend is 25. We have been together for a year and we have sex about 3 times a week. I have been tested 3 times in my life for STD's and each time everything came up neg. The last STD check I had was 4 months ago. My boyfriend and I don't use condoms and we were trying for a baby. I was having trouble because I was on depo for years. Last week I noticed a bump on my vag. It turned into two bumps and became so painful. The next day I went to planned parenthood. The doctor said it looked like herpes, give me pills, and did a swap test. I still waiting to hear back. Im pretty sure thats what it is. It looks just like the pictures now, nasty looking. I immediately told my boyfriend. He told me he cheated and recieved oral from one girl and unprotected sex with another. I have bumps and pain on my vag but he says he doesn't. If I have bumps first and he doesn't does that mean I would've had it before and it didn't show up on my STD tests 4 months ago? or is it more likely that he got it from the girl he had unprotected sex with? Can I still have kids without giving it to them? Can we still give with other oral sex when there is no bumps?

I recommend checking to see if herpes was included in your last std testing. If it was and you are negative then, you know you didn't have herpes prior to this and you got it from him.

At this point, your bf has had new partners so he needs to cover his bases with full std testing. make sure that herpes igg blood testing is included in his testing too. Once you know who has what, you can better make decisions as to what precautions to take. It really sounds like this came from him but both of you need full testing to be sure. Meanwhile google the free herpes handbook by Terri Warren to read more about herpes.

Can you still have children with genital herpes? of course you can!! You will have contracted it prior to pregnancy which greatly decreases the risk of transmission to the baby during pregnancy and delivery. Certainly at this point avoid sex until your symptoms are healed and you and your bf know who has what.

Hi, you really need the test results before jumping to conclusions and you really need a blood test as well and your boyfriend needs to test as well. Its important to know if you have hsv1 or hsv2 as 1 is much easier to deal with and yes you still can have children.
If he has hsv1 oral and you now hsv1 genital you both are basicly immune to contracting it in another area so you can have sex with minimal concerns.
