give your provider a call and ask them to call the lab to get the actual numeric results. The lab gets numeric results when they run the test but some labs only report it as + or - to the providers. Because of the false positive issues with the blood tests, knowing the actual numeric results helps me see if you need additional testing done or not.
most adults have hsv1 orally whether they recall ever having had cold sores or not so testing + for hsv1 isn't too unexpected. verifying your hsv2 results is really what is important.
just had an std test done and came up with that! i had like a little blister but it went away not never had a rash or anything. All the other tests came back as not detected!
