IgM Vs. IgG

So at 20 weeks past possible exposure of having protected sex with a stripper I finally got some herpes testing done. I have never had any type of outbreak but i sure have had other symptoms, I had the flu a few weeks after exposure, i had back aches, knees aching, a dry cough which lasted over a month, some burning, ithcing and redness in the penis and testicle area, My test results were herpes 1 igg 4.79, herpes 2 igg 0.28, herpes 1 igm 0.76, herpes 2 igm 2.64. My doctor said I had herpes and it was a recent encounter which he was obviously was wrong since it had been 5 months since the last time i had any type of sex. I did my homework on the IgM vs the IgG test only to find out how terrible the IgM test was. This site has been amazing and really help ful I want to thank everyone for their support. Just this week which was 25 weeks past exposure I had seen a Disease specialist and asked to get tested but only with an IgG test. My results for HSV - 2 IgG  .02 That is even less then the first test I have gotten. My doctor said not to worry and to let it go and if I had seen any type of outbreak to come back an see him. I'm hoping my example can help anyone out there or have some type of closure to their Postive IgM results. I have still been having many issues, such as blurred vision, little insect bit lookin bumps on my head and  a couple on my body but not in my genital area, pain and some redness in the shaft and testicles, neasua and headaches, I guess i have to start lookin into other issues and hopefully push herpes behind me. if you can't put your fear of having herpes to rest, consider professional counseling to help you work through this at this point.

I know Grace I just thought i'd put a follow up of my results, I am still having issues down there redness, pain, the head has some swelling and thats what makes me go back to thinkin its herpes  again. What else could cause penis issues down there?
