I'm a hypochondriac
So recently I have been afraid I have almost every disease that correlate to the symptoms I experience. I am a 20 year old girl. I have had 3 sexual partners. I never thought about stds until now. I had a weird feeling when I peed, not so much burning. I have had extreme muscle twitching for the past 4 months which I have read has something to do with herpes. I don't get the mouth sores or any of that. I am on my period which I also read can trigger herpes outbreaks. I occasionally get itching down there but I have always had that from shaving. I went to the restroom the other day and felt a cut that stings on my butt. I always have gotten leg pains but I have noticed they have been really bad this past week which i don't know if that is from my period or a herpes sign.c I'm so scared to tell anyone or see anyone because I don't want anyone to think or look at me differently I feel so gross right now. I don't know if I am convincing myself of these symptoms or if i actually do. I freak out so much I can't even function on a day to day basis. I google everything and it's consuming my life. Please help with your thoughts.

There is no reason at all to think anything in what you describe is related to herpes. Unfortunately the internet is considered to be 'information' when 90% of it is, frankly, utter nonsense. Make sure you use this lens when reading the net.

For those that need to know, there is a blood test. Pop into your doctor and request a blood test for IgG antibodies type specific for HSV1 and HSV2.

Oh and I had general blood work done a couple months ago saying I had low vitamin b.. Which has me believing it could be herpes I don't know why
