I'm very confused and scared
For the last three months I've had itching and burning feelings on my buttocks with chaffing and itching around my anus no bumps sore lesions just itching and burning it all started after I was with a professional and I started feeling these symptoms the very next day I'm afraid it could be herpes but 3 months non stop is this possible I'm just scared can anyone help with advice I'm planning on having a blood test but I'm waiting on 16 weeks from the incident and have not had sex since

This doesn't change my opinion or advice. Perhaps I will have a final comment if and when you have a blood test and would like to let me know the result -- but nothing more until then. (Be sure you have only an IgG test. Avoid IgM testing, which is inherently inaccurate and unreliable.)
Good am this is my original post and just wanted to add that after 3 1/2 months of anxiety and nervousness with symptoms all the tingling all the the burning sensation and the redness I had around anus that started 8 weeks past exposure and that lasted a couple of days is gone everything seems to be back to normal except for the chaffing around anus I'm not concerned about it being herpes but my question is Howard recommend I not test for herpes and dr hhh has posted in circumstances like mine a one time single exposure with out actual blisters or lesions within 12 days is pretty good indicator that ur clear I am married and still thinking of testing but wondering what if I get a false + I feel like I'm in the clear since I haven't had the blisters just pimples when I was really irratated but no popping no scabbing and they where gone within a couple of days thx u
So I scheduled a test I pray and hope what I'm feeling is nothing to be concerned about once again thxs for all ur input
So since I first posted my original question my symptoms have been a lot less I still have a sore lower back but buttock burn is almost gone and anal itch is going away I pray it wasn't a out break it's been a hard three months with a lot of anxiety and depression I really would like to put this behind me so i can resume a life of sex with my wife and smile again be a family Howard thx u for ur advice and input god bless you

Yah well you my in fact have something but herpes isn't it. Your skin changes so much from day to day. Anxiety + heat rash or well honestly it could be anything. Im shure you have noticed just how much your skin changes everyday. And now that you are looking your seeing stuff. I look at myself every day also. And found out my skin reacts to alot of stuff like deodorant, tooth past, for a rash to come and go that quick is normal. 12 weeks is good time to get tested.
I will repeat that there is absolutely no chance that your anal itching etc are due to herpes. Re-read my replies above. If you remain concerned, stop screwing around with this or any other ocmmunity forum and see a doctor.

Olney 20% dont have sores in the first 3 months. But no sores no symptoms. Plus you can get tested now the number slowly gos up. Youll have your answer. The symptoms are due to the virus moving on your nerv cells. Thats why we can say 1-4 days bec we can feel them moving out.

Ok thxs so being that I've had symptoms for three months rules out herpes or them being on anus and buttocks i woke up feeling normal today no pain or itching I still worried but hope u can comment on my condition again
Symptoms till sores 1-4 days. You will not have the symptoms that longe you wont even have a outbreak that longe.
I'm greatful and very thankful for your help and responses I'm just very nervous about it and tired of dealing with this I'm happy with your diagnoses of me and trust me it does bring reassurance of it not being herpes I pray that it isn't
You're overthinking all this. There is absolutely no reason to suspect herpes as a cause of these symptoms and they have nothing to do with any sexual exposure you may have had. See your doctor. I won't have any further comments or advice.

I started jock itch medicine and it seem to help but the burning feeling on buttocks is still and so is itching no sores nothing I'm just confused i fell it more when I sit and lay down sorry for being negative just worried and scared
