ps. Non-of the blisters hurt before the doctor scratched them and the new blisters dont hurt nor itch. I have no other symptoms associated with HSV. I also tested positive for MRSA 6 months ago. The woman I had sex with claims she was tested over and over again for HSV but always came back negative but who knows what kind of test she had or if she's lying.
I also had trimmed my penis and pubic hair with a trimmer (no gaurd) a day before having sex.
At this point waiting for your lesion culture results is the best you can do. If you've never had a herpes blood test before, get one now and then repeat it in a few months.
If you have a history of mrsa, it very well could also be mrsa again. If this isn't better in a week, return to the doctor or a dermatologist for further evaluation.
Thanks for your prompt reply. Are clusters of blisters only caused by herpes or could it be caused by something else? Also, do the blisters always scab or could they go away without scabbing if this were Herpes?
Many things can cause symptoms as you've described. Unfortunately you don't always get quick answers as to what is going on :( At this point you are following up on the herpes part of things and if it continues , follow up with dermatology for a more thorough work up.
So yesterday a new single blister popped out right under the glans of my penis. It's not a cluster just one blister but I'm not sure if this could be a symptom of herpes. I mean this is after a 9 days of when I saw the first three pimples/blisters. My penis could've been pressed on the open wound (from the doctor's needle scratch) but I'm really having difficulty believing that this is not HSV-2. Test results aren't back yet but I'm just really impatient and would like to know if blisters could pop out in waves or not if this were Herpes.
Another thing that I wanna add is that this is an area where the (possibly) virus wasnt massaged into the skin. In other words, this is the part that the condom was covering but I'm wondering if the virus just had the time to replicate and make its way to that part of my penis or if the bacteria (in case its bacteria) just found its way to construct another site of pimples.
If you have a history of mrsa, it very well could also be mrsa again. If this isn't better in a week, return to the doctor or a dermatologist for further evaluation.
