Inconsistent Blood Test Results

Please help me analyze these results...in June, I tested equivocal for HSV 2 after testing negative 2 years prior.  I have taken the test 5 times since then, here are my full results including the first test....Equivocal, Negative, Equivocal, Negative, Equivocal.  These tests were over the course of 6 months with the latest one switching back to equivocal.  What does this mean?  Does it mean I have it, but the test isnt able to locate it or tell for sure?  Is it possible there is a lab error each time?  My doctor has stated this last time that maybe there is a protein in my blood that is affecting the results? I have never heard that before and I feel that equivocal this many times means that i definitely have it.   If you can shed some light on this situation, let me know if these are typical results, any help is much appreciated!  I thank you in advance.   I am a male, early 30's, healthy lifestyle.  The tests I have been taken are Elisa with another one I don't know the name of given by Kaiser.  thank you in advance!

it's the same exact advice though dear - it's still considered negative as I told you the last time you posted with similar results. don't get hung up on the equivocal label, it's meaningless for the most part.   there is no reason for more testing and all it's doing is adding to your anxiety unnecessarily.

Thank you very much for your reply and yes I did post a similar comment 2 months ago.  However, after this latest test coming back as equivocal yet again, I became more worried that this is not a step in the right direction.  My doctor also said it could be a protein in my blood reacting with the test.  So I was presented with new information and felt it appropriate to post a similar yet slightly different post.
Any help anyone can give me would be much appreciated.  I generally don't like the tone grace took with me after I posted a sincere and heartfelt question.  Thank you all.
