Is This Herpes???

I occasionally, perhaps towards frequently get pimple like bumps on my front and inner thigh, buttocks and sometimes groin area. They are never in clusters and are sometimes painful and sometimes itch. The thing is, I have constant acne or possibly kertosis pilaris on my arms back and wondering if this could be the same thing down there. I am fairly confident that if there was any possibility this could be herpes, it would have been from oral sex. I never have these pimples on my penis as far as I can tell, so it seems odd that if oral was the cause behind this, that it would never occur at the primary site of infection.

*Bump* Can anyone please chime in. I am getting tested soon, however, I am looking for some opinions. Thank you very much in advance.

P.S. The infection would be now like 8-10 yrs old if it is indeed HSV.

This doesn't sound typical of herpes. Obviously you need to be seen when symptomatic for a proper work-up. A dermatologist could be a good choice.

Do you have a regular partner? While it's on your mind, you could get tested for herpes, just to know your status (and you partner should be tested, too).
