Is my constant burning a symptom of herpes?

Hello doctor,

Here is a little back story:

About 5 months ago I had unprotected sex with the same guy twice in a span of 3 weeks. After the first time I had no symptoms but immediately after the second time I began experiencing vaginal pain so I went to my gynecologist. I did a culture and blood work and was diagnosed with chlaymydia and bv; and negative for everything else(Tests did not include HSV). I took medication for both and took an additional dose of medication for chlaymydia because I still tested positive after a week. I was symptom free for about 3 weeks then began experience minor vaginal burning. I called my doctor and was told I most likely got a yeast infection from all the antibiotics. I took 2 rounds of OTC yeast infection treatments and still had slight burning every so often. I started realizing the burning definitely appearers right before my period but also at other random times as well. I recently have taken prescribed pills(once)  and antifungal cream medication(once) since cultures were positive for yeast. However over the past 4 months the burning has gotten more constant and more intense. Although my doctor says my vagina looks normal and sees no sign of herpes I am not confident since I have never had a blood test. I have not had unprotected vaginal sex since the initial diagnoses 5 months ago, however I have had oral sex.

Symptoms:
My vagina is red and irritated and burning on skin surrounding the bottom of vagina opening.
The red irritated area is only tender in some spots
Does not hurt to touch
Does not hurt to pee
Burning sometimes in clitoris
Clear/white discharge at times
Recently started irritation on buttocks skin near vagina
I think I see torn skin/little bumps on the red irritated skin (although doctor says everything looks normal)
The burning can be random. I feel it one day and not the next or sometimes only at night. Or more recently it has been a constant mild burning and then flare up to more intense at a particular time in the day.

I have been obsessing over my symptoms lately and googling everything so I'm a little scared. I wanted to get your opinion on if my symptoms align with herpes since I have read online that herpes can sometimes be mild and not have visible lesions.

Also is it usual for herpes symptoms to be so constant and be felt one day and not the next? Would herpes symptoms like burning and irritation get worse over time if left untreated?

Thank you very much for your help and professional opinion!

This surely doesn't sound like hsv. Yes your symptoms are to constant and it is more rare than you think to get burning type symptoms without lesions. I really do not suspect hsv at all.

Thank you for your reply! I will be getting blood work done just to be 100% positive, but you have greatly eased my mind!
