Is this Herpes?

I will try and describe this the best that I can.  I have a small cluster of very tiny white spots on my lip.  I would say each is about the size of a pin prick.  I have not had any pain in the area though I had cold symptoms.  No fever but runny nose and throat mucus and swollen glands of the throat.

When I scratched the area to see if it was just old skin nothing happened.

If there were the blisters wouldn't they have popped with me scratching them?  Wouldn't I also have had pain there before hand?  I will find out soon if they burst and crust over but knowing earlier would let me know to call my sexual life over or give me mind relief.

Wish this place had an edit button but I think after more research they may be Fordyce spots.

Good grief - become educated, not scared! Do you realize that more than 1/2 the adult population has oral herpes? It's a mere skin condition. Most of us won't make it to the old folks home without it!

As Grace stated, your symptoms don't sound like oral herpes. But to live in fear is silly.

I will but thank you so much Grace, herpes is the one thing I am REALLY scared of because of the incurable nature.
