Is this Herpes?

For the last 3 months I've had these bumps in my groin and lower stomach region...with a couple on my penis. The highest bump being a couple inches from my belly button.

They are sometimes very slightly itchy, no pain and no discharge that I can tell.

At first I thought it was an ingrown hair infection, so I tried various antibacterial soaps, none of which made any difference.

It looks like herpes to me from comparison pics, but I didn't think Herpes lasted several months at a time.

Well check a dermatologist.  But the picture you presented and the picture of the Molluscum are completely opposite to yours.  But a visit to your dermatology will fix the problem.

Thanks again for the reply.

I'm thinking it may be molluscum contagiosum, guess I'll go get checked out.

MRSA: would there be other symptoms with that? Such as a fever, or worsening of the area over time? These have stayed just about exactly the same for about 3-months now.

If those symptoms are not previous to the outbreak is not herpes.  Herpes symptoms are very classic.  Be careful is not MRSA.

Thanks for the reply.

Mine are also like little pimples. The picture I posted might make them look cratered, however they are not cratered, but actually stick out, like pimples. When the first one or two appeared a few months ago, that's what I actually thought they were, just pimples.

In my original post I said there was no pain. Tonight I noticed a few of them are actually a little sore to the touch (made sure to wash my hands good after touching).

Pain in my hips...no I don't think so, no headache or chills either.

Thanks.

If you see the first picture are like little pimple full of liquid, yours are like little craters.  Look more than something that eat skin. Get doctor check. But I believe is not HSV.  Did you experience pain in your hips, headache, chills?
