Is this Herpes?

Im wondering if this could possibly be herpes..Ok so the other night I shaved and when I got out of the shower I noticed a red bump on my outter vagina kind of close to my inner thigh..it didn't hurt at all just resembled a bump no fluid ect. By the end of the night it was no longer a bump but just seemed to look like an ingrown hair so I messed with it and it bled only a small amount. The next day it was tender only around the area of the bump but didn't hurt. The next day it still didn't hurt it just has a slight tingling sensation occasionally. There is no scab and the area is hardly visible just a red dot the size of a hole of a hair follicle.. but I know it's there..I keep thinking it's a ingrown hair because there are not a lot of symptoms and it doesn't hurt..any advice?

My advice is leave it alone and stop messing with it by doing that you are not allowing it to heal,it doesn't sound like Herpes to me but only you know if you should be worried that it could be,if thats the case then get tested to err on the side of caution.

Doesnt sound like HSV to me either probably just an ingrown hair but get tested if unsure...and MAKE SURE if you have sex protect the other person!!!
