I recently discovered a small bump on my inner thigh, on the border of my crotch. Its about the size of half a centimeter. The skin on it has turned a little dark but, It doesn't hurt at all. I'm curious because I heard ingrown hairs hurt. Mine doesn't hurt. I looked up pictures of herpes and genital warts and they usually come in clusters and are very painful looking. I also don't have accompanying symptoms like a urinary tract infection. I don't know if I should see a doctor because its so small, you don't notice it until you touch it and really look for it. I'm almost certain its an ingrown hair because it resembles my older ones. I'm just a little caught off guard because this one doesn't hurt.
Hi If you think this is a herpes sore then it would be considered a recurrent outbreak because of the location. If youve never had a genital outbreak before it really should not be herpes related. But if your concerned see a doctor.
