Is this herpes?

I had unprotected sex just under 3 months ago.

About 4 weeks ago I noticed a slight tingling under the base of the head of my penis that has been coming and going ever since. I really only feel this after sitting down for a while and thinking about it.

Also, there is a redness on the head of my penis that is not irritated whatsoever, but becomes very red after masturbation.

I also have an itchiness around my anus but it has been confirmed by the doctor as a fissure.
I've been tested for gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphillis, and HIV, all tests negative.
Is this herpes?

Any help would be great,
Thanks :)

there is no tingling anymore but occasionaly i feel a very slight ache on my penis - this can be anywhere - so i assume its just in my head. The redness around urethra is still there so I have booked an appointment with a different doctor.

I haven't had one because it is quite expensive and the doctor said there isn't much of a reason for me to have one

It wouldn't, this is not caused by herpes.

What were your blood test results for HSV?

so on the topic of herpes, how long would someone's anus remain itchy?

side note: there are small red papule-like bumps that encircle the base of the head of my penis in a line... the doctor says they are nothing to worry about but i remain concerned. Anyone have any idea?

Hi, Only testing would confirm if you have herpes but those with recent infections that do  have outbreaks, would occur on an average of a week or so later, not 2 months.
Also tingling is a prodrome term used most often for those with long term herpes and can be used as a tool prediction coming outbreaks and should not last more than a few days.
All of what your describing dont appear herpes related as the head is not a common place for outbreaks but the shaft or pubic mound area.
