Is this herpes?

I had an unprotected sexual encounter about six months ago. A few days after I noticed two bumps that were a distance apart. They did not hurt unless I pressed down on them, they were gone in 3-7 days with no pus, they could have been due to shaving. I had no other symptoms. About 3 weeks later, I started to get dull, quick pains in my vagina. This month, 2 days before my period started (on the 23rd) my vagina started to itch. I scratched it, which probably caused the rawness. When my period started, the itchy, rawness did not get any better because I wear pads and it constantly rubbed the area. My period is now over, but I still feel itchy. I have no bumps, blisters, or lesions, but the itchiness is bad and I still have those dull pains. I had a pap done 2 months ago, and nothing was abnormal about that, but I don't know what's going on with me.

Doesn't sound like hsv. You can get an igg type specific hsv blood test if your worried about hsv2.
