Is this herpes?

From about late January to mid-February my thighs were consistently itching. About 2 weeks ago my penis started to do the same thing and now some bumps are starting to appear on my shaft and about to on the head. I am not sure if its herpes because the last sexual activity I had was in November of 2008 and to me that semms a long time for it to suddenly appear. Is it stress, herpes, or another type of infection of some sort?

Sounds more like jock itch than a std. see your provider for a proper diagnosis and discuss any std testing they feel you are in need of too while you are there and it's on your mind.

Well if u do have herpes u could take a blood test to see if thats what it picks up. Normally u want to wait up to 3 months to get tested & its been that long. Its possible it could be jock itch to cause jock itch sorta mimicks herpes.
