..only the throat. I used a flash light to look thoroughly at my throat and I saw a few blister bumps on the back of my throat. The next day more appeared. I went to my local clinic to so they could have a look at it. The doc said she didn't see anything, so I went to see my general practioner. She looked and said I seem to have little nodules on my throat so she gave me amoxicillin. I took them till it was finish but the bumps were still there but somewhat shrinking. Eventually they went away but they left red/pink bumps there now which seems to be permanent. I haven't had anymore sore throats unless I have a cold. I went back to the doc again and told her LOOK I have little red bumps now what is it? She said it was small taste buds or lymph nodes and that it didn't look like herpes. The interesting thing is that, previously before I engaged in oral sex, the bumps were not there. There was NO bumps in my throat at all, so why all of a sudden these "taste buds/lymph nodes" so obvious? Doc please help. Thanks.
this isn't the doctor's forum - you have to pay to post there.
you have been seen several times now and no one seems to think what is going on is herpes. odds are you are just paying a lot of attention to things with your anxiety from performing unprotected sex. It's also not likely you'd only have throat symptoms with herpes and no other symptoms.
