Hello there. I was diagnosed with herpes 2 about three months ago. Since the initial outbreak I have not had an obvious outbreak (no pain, no blisters) but I have had oral sex a few times (no intercourse) that seem to cause itching and a white discharge.
Could this be considered an outbreak? Is this typical of having herpes? Am I infectious during this time?
if you have itching and discharge, go and be seen and get tested for yeast and bacterial infections vaginally. If your partner is hsv2 negative, avoid sex because even if you don't have an active ob present, vaginitis can trigger shedding.
