Just Tested Positive...Help

I made a topic a couple days ago, now i have my results back, well two results. I tested Positive for HSV1- i think she said 1.29 my hsv-2 test wasnt ready yet. I also took cultures, my doctor said a bacteria culture did not show any signs of bacteria, but my herpes culture was not ready yet. I am so hurt, first time having a STD and its herpes. How often are test wrong? and what does she mean the bacteria culture was negative herpes is a virus right? so why would she give a bacteria culture? im very lost and confused can anyone help.

at this point all you can do is wait for all your test results to come back. I know it's hard to wait but it's the best you can do.

yes herpes is a virus, not bacteria.
