L-Lysine affecting outcome of blood test?

I thought I contracted something about a year ago, went in to get tested and was negative for everything except herpes, i wasn't tested for HSV. Still had some weird symptoms, but not quite consistent to herpes. I went to get tested again just to know about two weeks ago, but had been taking L-Lysine and not thinking it would affect the blood test. I tested negative for both HSV-1 and HSV-2.. would the L-Lysine have suppressed the virus enough for it to not show in a blood test if i had been infected for over a year?
