Lesion recurrances

Is it common for an outbreak NOT to recur over the course of one year?

Had an outbreak of lesions in my pubic area and one blister on my penis (penis blister PCR swabbed negative 24 hours after occuring, and blister itself gone in 2 days).  This was in May last year, and there hasn't been anything resembling it since.

I know you've been posting on medhelp for awhile now and I"m far too lazy to go thru all your posts. Did you ever get a herpes blood test that was definitely + for herpes at all?

Lol..sorry to test your patience Grace.  Wish I had the luxury of getting a blood test but unfortunately they are not available to me in my location (despite asking for one) and I can't order one do to privacy issues.

This was more or less a general question.

If anyone does have feedback it would be appreciated though.  Thanks, beginning to beleive it's not herpes which is good.

Yes you can have just one obvious lesion and then not really notice any symptoms again. If it's hsv1 genitally that's actually the norm.
