Lesions / Sores - Characteristics

Do lesions or sores caused by Herpes typcially bleed?  I understand that they might burst and ooze, but is bleeding part of this process?

No, bleeding is not typical of herpes lesions.

I had a bleeding sore on the tip of my penis that bleed and scabbed over all within three hours.  Not real sure what was going on with it.   Anyone else had such a thing and it occurred after a workout at the gym?

The scab lasted about three days and the sore was very painful.
