across them ..does that mean thats a sign of herpes? I have been sexually active but not in a while and Im pretty sure that my partners didn't have herpes... I need answers! Im kind of nervous!

These could be many things. Lip cracks at the corners are often angular chelitis and not oral herpes but it can be due to herpes. chelitis can be due to fungal infections or even chemicals in toothpastes, chapsticks etc. Since this doesn't seem to be getting better and in fact seems to be getting worse - a trip to the doctor is probably the best idea to get better answers.
