Lyme Disease or Herpes

Hi,

I had unprotected sex with a woman in June, 2011.  The sex was fairly painful, and the underside of my foreskin felt stretched.  She swears she doesn't have any STDs but I don't know her that well.  A few days later, I was very feverish and had a complete loss of appetite.  My penis was very dry and urinating was painful. I went for a full set of STD tests and all were negative.  This initial sickness only last 4 days.

5 weeks later, I started feeling the exact same way: fever and loss of appetite.  There was a constant burning in my urethra and my penis was very dry.  I went to the doctor and blood test revealed that I had Lyme Disease.  After the first day of a 21 day prescription of doxy, my symptoms went away.

Starting in mid-August, after the conclusion of my antibiotics, I started having the following symptoms constantly:  burning during urination, burning in the urethra, leekage of urine, urgency, and lots of fordyce spots on the underside of my penis.  These symptoms have been constant since mid-August.

I have had negative type-specific IGG tests for HSV2 at 1,6,10, and 15 weeks since my last sexual encounter.  I have been to both a family physician, who said I may have nonspecific urethritis, and a urologist, who conducted a swap test for herpes in my urethra, which I am assuming was negative because I never heard back.

Now, 6 months my last sexual encounter, these red bumps/marks on the head of my penis have appeared. They produce this mild, dull pain.

Can you offer any suggestions?  I've been incredibly stressed about all this, in addition to the stress of starting a new job.  Could this be lingering Lyme Disease?  Could the fact that I've been fighting Lyme Disease imply that my body has been slow to produce sufficient HSV antibodies to show up on the blood tests?  Thanks so much for any help

you've tested negative for herpes repeatedly. no reason for more herpes testing.

at this point you need to see an urologist for further evaluation.

this is not a lyme disease issue either.
