Lymph Nodes

I am HSV-2 positive. I seroconverted 4 years ago with severe symptoms that still linger to this day. The most annoying symptom is the burning sensations inside my penis and in and around my lymph nodes. i.e.  underarms, inner thighs, my temples, throat and chest. I began taking Valtrax a two weeks ago but It doesn't seem to work on this symptom. My question is, Does HSV-2 reside in the lymph nodes? if so, will my lymph nodes succumb to this chronic infection over time?

anything that has been causing you a burning sensation for 4 years, isn't likely herpes related.  valtrex isn't going to help clear this up.  have you consulted with a neurologist about all of this?  there are medications specific for neuralgia regardless of cause.

Hi, they reside in the base of the lower or upper spine.
