Many different symptoms, is it herpes?

I had a sexual encounter using a condom with a girl who "gets around a lot", a couple days later I felt a slight tingly sensation all over my body that eventually went away in about 48 hours.  Within a week I was itching on my inner thighs close to my knees up to my mid thigh.  That lasted for a couple months, driving me crazy and I was looking at it several times each day.  During that time I had some tiny bumps (1 millimeter) in the area that had a crusty white top that I couldn't even flick off.  I also had several tiny red bumps scattered about on my thighs that were at the base of my leg hairs.  After 3 months it moved to the outside of my thighs.  There was also a week around that time where it seemed to go away, but then it came back.  The red dots were by no means big, but they were there and most seemed to come from the hair follicles. I bought for a while this might be just folliculitis, so I bought some hibiclens as rubbed it on my thighs a couple times a day.  After a week or two it all seemed to go away.  Surprise!  Something came back on my buttocks a week or two later.  It's different though, just tenderness.  Irritated when I sit and somewhat tender to touch on the bottom crease and some at the top of my crack.  The tenderness goes away when I shower, so I'm taking a couple showers a day.  I did go boating and was soaked in shorts and underwear, and walked around soaked for a few hours possibly chaffing the area.  This was just before it started, but this feeling has lasted a month now.  I searched the Internet for a self diagnosis and think it might be herpes.  Anyone know??

These symptoms are not herpes related. You use protection and it works effectively against STDs.

Cannot say what you are experiencing or whether it is even related to the sexual episode.
