Neck and throat pain

Hello as I posted before I have had exposure to hsv-2 from a positive girl who performed oral sex on me.
The last two days I have had a painful feeling on my throat to the right side. It hurts to touch and hurts a little when I swallow. Is this supposed to be the onset of am outbreak?? Has anyone felt this before. I have had no sores. Do they come after this feeling?? During??

Advice would be appreciated

Hi, her performing oral sex on you would not give you oral symptoms, it would give HER oral symptoms.

If a person does have initial symptoms there would be more of body aches and fever and the body is building antibodies. Your mention throat issues and those would have nothing to do with her giving you oral sex and seems more like the common cold.

I'm worried about an infection in general like a sore throat and swollen glands and stuff. I feel crappy and was wondering if this is like a precursor to the initial infection

The exposure was three weeks ago.
