Need help reading Herpes I/II blood test results .

My friend recently told me that she has Herpes I & II, we had a 3some-used condoms but I went down on her... I got blood tested at my local doctor, the results for both Herpes I & II  were < 0.90, but my Herpes came out under abnormal with Herpes I 7.69 while my Herpes II came out with 0.28. What do these test results mean? My doctor told me I'm negative for both.This confuses me! HELP!

you are + for hsv1 if your hsv1 igg was 7.69.  

you are - for hsv2 if your hsv2 igg was .28.

how long after the encounter had you waited to test?

3 months after...Im unsure if it was the igg? it was under abnormal .28 for hsv2 and it was <0.90 .... so I have it even though the Dr said Im negitive? Thanks.

Can you get your hands on the results and read what test it says?  We want to make sure it is an IGG test.

I had a blood test done for a checkup before my gf told me she had it- the test results say as shown:

Herpes I Ab. (IgG) 7.69 abnormal, <0.90

Herpes II Ab. (IgG) 0.28, <0.90  
**both say negative

I think the numbers to the side are the reference ranges.  If its less than 0.90 its negative and your II is 0.28 which is less than 90.  Plus you were tested properly using an IgG test so grace's information is what you need to go by.
