Need help

I've been divorced for 4yrs. I havent had sexual contact for 31/2 yrs. last person to be with was my husband.  I wrote earlier today and mentioned that I had a hard mass on the outer labia majora. I was feeling it last night and was still a little hard and this morning it got smaller from last night. I know its not warts because they dont pop and have a cauliflower appearance and pretty much lay flat. I messed with the mass today and a little white came out with little blood. Its feels a little squishy but it doesnt hurt at all. Dont herpes hurt especially if popped? mine went down and theres no scabbing from what i can see. could this have been a blocked pore? Does herpes start off as a hard mass?
