Nerve Damage and Long Term Effects. + No blisters

I have had occasional canre sores in my mouth.  Never on my lips.  I had that nerve tingling sensation on my skin for about a week. It started on the insides o my leg moved uip my hip across my chest and around to my back on the other side.   I had itching in my arm pits and redness that was reduced with fungal creams.  I did have a rash outbreak on my legs but no ouzinng and it did not look like herpes.  My doctore looked a it.   I have a lot of itching in my lower legs.   I am have had  Psoriasis for years and it is starting on my lower legs too. very mild.  I am concerned about what actions I should take if any to see if it was viral and should I do anything if outbreaks are not really bad yet.  Will it go dormant.  Am I ok.  I excercise, sleep well and take vitamins.  

How should they check for Herpes I dont think I have it but I think something is up.   I also have a lot of anal itching and creepy crawling sensations there.  No real rashes other than the psoriasis redness and flakes. my doctor diagnosed the psoriasis.
