No penetration - am I at risk?

Hi,

I appreciate your patience and hope that you can ease my fears.  I unfortunately went to a massage parlor and engaged in mutual masturbation with a woman.  My penis touched her vagina for no more than probably 10 seconds in total for the entire experience, with no insertion.  She was very aroused.

Am I at risk for herpes?  I am panicked that I did this and now, because my penis touched her vagina, I now have herpes.  I didn’t even really rub her vagina with my penis - it just pressed against it. How worried should I be?  Am I at risk for anything, especially herpes?

Thank you in advance for your help, I sincerely appreciate it.

Short answer is you shouldn't be worried. Yes, you will read that herpes is spread by skin to skin contact. That being said it needs to be massaged in through friction. Getting hsv like you describe is just plain unrealistic.
You were at little to no risk for any std. I don't even recommend testing after an exposure like this.

Are you sure?  Totally paranoid about this.  We had very little contact, but everything I am reading says that it is so easy to get and that is making me really, really nervous….
