ONE Fordyce Spot causing unusual itch/discomfort?

Hello.

I'm a 21 year old male with Fordyce spots on the shaft of my penis.

That said, a few days ago exactly ONE (1) of these spots suddenly started feeling weird.

When rubbing it, it feels very weird, uncomfortable, almost itchy. I've confirmed it is EXACTLY that ONE spot causing the problems. I've watched it very closely and examined it under strong white light to try and see if it could be an ingrown hair, but alas, does not seem like it.

This one spot is on the right side of the shaft. I know for a fact that I don't have a skin-related STD/STI, and even if I did, these are far from being any sort of warts or the likes, especially considering it's just this 1 Fordyce spot causing the unusual sensation.

I've scoured the internet in hopes of finding something similar, to no avail. If it's at all relevant, I'm Mediterranean and circumcised. I'm extremely confused as to what this could be...

Many thanks for any insight :(

I'm mighty surprised that Dr Google didn't yield a mountain of images for you to look at!

Fordyce spots are incredibly common. They are glands that have no hair inside. Also common is for them to occasional flare up with lots of pus. You can lance this to release the fluid and treat it with an antibacterial lotion until healed.
